Doc Warren

Doc Warren has been in the Human Service field since 1990 (while still in high school). He has worked and or interned in the following clinical settings: Inpatient, Partial Hospital, Intensive Inpatient, Locked Wards, Intensive Outpatient, Home Based, Outreach, Substance Abuse, Criminal Justice, Half Way and Transitional Living Centers. He has worked with all ages on an individual, group and family basis.
Doc utilizes a behavioral approach to therapy based on the work of Dr. Albert Ellis' Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy and others, blended with his unique conversational style. He also strives to use the latest and most effective techniques based on current best practices.
Doc has many specialties and though he works with everyone he is often called upon to handle the most complex situations.
Though he works with all populations,Doc is well known to special needs communities and is a proud ally to the LGBTQ community, Veterans, and other populations that often find themselves in need of service with few available clinicians that can help.
Doc is the founder of Community Counseling Centers of Central CT. Inc and Pillwillop Therapeutic Farm and serves as Clinical and Executive Director of both programs. He also writes a monthly column titled Nonprofit News, for Counseling Today Online- the magazine of the American Counseling Association (ACA). Lisa Corson, LPC, NCC
Some of Lisa's specialties are issues with anxiety, depression, grief, adjustment disorders, and relational conflicts. Lisa is also our arts-based therapist, combining traditional therapy skills and techniques with art making in order to explore feelings, reconcile emotional conflict, foster self-awareness, manage behavior, and restore well-being. Lisa works with adults, adolescents, and children.

We are proud to announce that Sandra Godin (LPC, NCC) has joined our team on a part time basis. Sandra has a strong background in working with both children and adults of all ages. She is available for counseling for the general population, but has special interest/training in perinatal mood disorders (such as post-partum depression), issues relating to LGBTQ identification, parenting, and employment-related concerns. She has over 16 years of prior experience in parenting education, and is a Level 4 state-credentialed educator (CTPEC-L4), with specialized training in working with individuals with a history of trauma. She also holds an endorsement by the CT Association for Infant Mental Health, recognizing her skill in working with new mothers and/or fathers.
In addition to her MA in Counseling Psychology from American International College, she holds a second Master's degree in Education from the University of CT, and is experienced in working with children with depression/anxiety, behavior or attention issues impacting school success.
Sandra is available for individual, couples and family counseling after 3 PM, Monday-Friday and Saturday mornings. Sandra has been a valued member of the team on an internship and volunteer basis for 4 years and we are honored to have her join the team as a licensed clinician. We are proud to welcome Warren Corson IV, LPC, to CCC and the farm office! Warren graduated with his MA in Counseling Psychology from American International College in 2015 and has been practicing in the field since, working for an agency as both a clinician and clinical supervisor. Warren has experience with individual therapy, group therapy, intensive outpatient group therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy. Though experienced working with a wide range of clients, Warren specializes in anxiety/depression, trauma, personality disorders, and addiction. Warren is also certified as a National Acupuncture Detoxification Association Acudetox specialist. Currently, Warren accepts CIGNA, Anthem, and self-pay clients with more insurances to come.
